Kasco Construction Services is a general contractor and construction management firm in Missouri specializing in healthcare and institutional work. Its services include: construction management, construction manager at risk, designing, building, estimating, fire stopping and general contracting.

The Goal

Kasco Construction needed a simple way to share payroll information with its construction project management software, for accurate job reporting and billing.
We wanted to enable Kasco Construction’s ADP and Sage softwares to share information
freely to eliminate duplicate data entry and the human errors that can result.

The Problem

Kasco Construction needed a simpler way to share payroll information with its construction project management software, for accurate job reporting and billing.
Kasco Construction was importing data and exporting data between ADP Payroll Services and Sage 100 Contractor (formerly Sage Master Builder). Kasco Construction was using Integrated Design, Inc. (IDI) – a customizable “Time Bank™” software for transferring data among employee management applications – to complete these imports and exports.
Kasco Construction first reached out to Pixis Software when IDI discontinued its Sage 100 Contractor integration – and they needed a new solution.

Since Kasco Construction already had their business processes, payroll and more set up in these existing softwares, they needed a solution that would still use them, without the time more time invested to restart from scratch.

The Solution

Kasco Construction needed a custom software integration that could support the way their office already ran.

We developed a custom software integration between ADP and Sage 100 to expedite the programs’ information sharing capabilities.

We continue our relationship maintaining this software integration with each update ADP and Sage make to its software. As totally remote software support specialists for Kasco Construction, we manage the contact between Sage and ADP when they have an issue.

With this custom software integration, we were able to create a totally personalized solution to Kasco Construction’s business processes.
We made their data importing and exporting between ADP and Sage seamless and simplified for the users. Now, they can use employee hours, earnings, job transfers, and other critical data between ADP and Sage without relying on another software system that could discontinue its service.
